Description
“Twelve” is a serial music contrefact … which is another way of saying that I wrote a 12-tone melody on top of the chord changes to Cole Porter’s “Easy To Love.” (Inspired to do this after listening to the blistering recording of tune from a Cannonball Adderly Sextet concert in Japan). It’s quirky and fun and audiences seem to like it as much as players do.
The download includes both a C concert plus Bb part.
