"No Beethoven" is the story of my musical life, with Weather Report forming the nexus to that story. Filled with anecdotes, photos, audio & video files, the book is a veritable tome (600+ pages) that captures one of the most exciting periods in modern American music. 

I was lucky enough to be there. And even luckier now to be able to share it all with you. Three years in the making. What am I saying? 58 years in the making, and still counting. The book is now available for iPad from the Apple iBook store !!!

Grammy win for Clare Fischer Latin Jazz Big Band, and a mention for me!

Congratulations to Brent Fischer who worked so hard to record his father Clare's music, and to all of the incredibly talented musicians whose playing on "¡Ritmo!" helped to earn it this year's Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album. 



Honored to appear on a couple of tracks, and very honored to learn that my name was mentioned in the acceptance speech (along with others') at today's Grammy Awards pre-telecast ceremony — THANK YOU, BRENT, AND CONGRATULATIONS.
